This a good quality, solvent refined, mixed base oils containing additives to inhibit oxidation, foaming and corrosion. They are of medium high viscosity index, and have good emulsibility characteristics coupled with low pour point.
Lumachs are recommended for circulating systems and tool machines, high speed spindles and bearings, certain hydraulic systems, and other applications where good quality, chemically stable oil is necessary to ensure satisfactory performance.
Lumachs generally have a V.I. exceeding 90 and this property, allied to their natural stability makes them suitable for a wide variety of applications.
